DESCRIPTION: \nThe Unraveling Racism Training is a 2 day workshop that begins at 8:30am and ends at 5pm each day.\nERASE Racism's Unraveling Racism Trainings (URT) provides a context, framework, and language for understanding the realities of racism and how individuals can work to dismantle racism in their personal and professional lives. \nWe offer two levels of the URT: level 1 is the Core workshop, and level 2 is the Applied Skills workshop. \nThe Core workshop provides the knowledge and understanding necessary to address issues of racial inequities.  Through a variety of activities participants learn about the effects of white privilege, internalized racism and oppression, and are provided with a safe and supportive environment to reflect upon their own experiences.  The session includes interactive exercises, small group discussions and self-exploration.\nFind out more information about the Unraveling Racism Trainings»\n\n\nFor details, click here: https://www.eraseracismny.org/take-action/attend-an-event/past-events/event/33
