Our 2013 Annual Benefit was a huge success! On June 5, 2013 over 350 guests gathered at the Garden City Hotel to honor Kenneth I. Chenault, Chairman and CEO of American Express, for his life-time commitment to creating racial justice and promoting racial diversity and to recognize Jobco Incorporated for its commitment to increasing quality affordable housing on Long Island. Margaret Liendo won ERASE Racism's 2013 Student Essay Contest and was recognized at the event and awarded a cash prize of $500. This opportunity was offered to students who have participated in the organization's Student Leadership Program.
