Jobco Incorporated was founded by Michael S. Puntillo in 1950. Based in Great Neck, New York, Jobco has since grown to become a leading regional firm specializing in residential construction and rehabilitation, community development, commercial construction, and urban renewal. Jobco’s credits include projects completed for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, New York State Department of Housing and Community Renewal, New York City Department of Housing, Preservation and Development, New York City Housing Partnership, New York City Department of Design & Construction, New York City Housing Authority, the Newark Housing Authority, and numerous suburban housing authorities and private clients. Jobco has built or renovated over 10,000 units of housing, including projects in the South Bronx, Harlem, Bedford Stuyvesant, Southeast Queens, the Village of Hempstead, the City of Newark, and Nassau and Westchester Counties.
Robert M. Pascucci has been the President of Jobco Incorporated since 1986. Mr. Pascucci is a licensed Professional Engineer and an Attorney at Law. He is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute and St. John’s University School of Law. His professional affiliations include the American Bar Association, the National Society of Professional Engineers, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Chief Executives’ Organization (CEO), and the World Presidents’ Organization (WPO). He is a member of the WPO Metro (NY) Chapter Board of Directors, Nassau County AHRC Foundation Board of Directors, and the Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club Board of Managers. Mr. Pascucci is a former founding member of the Glen Cove Downtown Business Improvement District (BID) Board and a past board member of the Glen Cove Chamber of Commerce, the Association for a Better Long Island, The Green Vale School Board of Trustees, and the Bronx Boys & Girls Club Board of Managers.
Michael Puntillo earned a B.S. in Engineering from New York University. He is the recipient of numerous honors and citations, including Vision Long Island Smart Growth Award, the American Institute of Architects’ Archi Design Award, and the New York State American Institute of Architects’ Award for Construction Excellence and Design. In 1976, he was named “Man of the Year in Real Estate” by the C.W. Post Center of Long Island University Graduate School of Business Administration. He also received an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letter from New York Institute of Technology. Mr. Puntillo is a former chairman of the Sands Point Planning Board, and a former member of the Society of Military Engineers, the American Planning Association, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Long Island Builders Institute, and the Glen Cove Chamber of Commerce.
Jobco is most proud of its long legacy of building government-assisted, low-income and affordable housing communities supported by federal and state agencies and local public housing authorities. Through its affiliate, JMI Management Company, we manage and maintain a portfolio of affordable housing projects in the tri-state area.
