ERASE Racism's Unraveling Racism Trainings (URT) provides a context, framework, and language for understanding the realities of racism and how individuals can work to dismantle racism in their personal and professional lives.

We offer two levels of the URT: level 1 is the Core workshop, and level 2 is the Applied Skills workshop.

The Core Workshop

The Core Workshop provides the knowledge and understanding necessary to address issues of racial inequities. Through a variety of activities participants learn about the effects of white privilege, internalized racism and oppression, and are provided with a safe and supportive environment to reflect upon their own experiences.

The Applied Skills Workshop

The Applied Skills Workshop employs the concepts taught in the Core by working with participants on an individualized plan of action to increase racial equity in their own community. Participants attend the workshop with colleagues from work, church or their community, who will carry out the action plan together.

Sessions include interactive exercises, small group discussion and self-exploration.
