In January 2012, Molloy College opened a stunning first-class theater for professional performances (click here to see coverage by the NY times). The first musical at the Madison Theatre was "My Home Town", performed by an all-black cast and created by an all-black creative team. The story followed the ups and downs of three soul singers heading to the Big Apple. ERASE Racism encouraged our partners to attend the show in celebration of Black History Month. Additionally, when patrons used an ERASE Racism discount code, the Madison Theatre generously donated half of the proceeds to ERASE Racism.
